TermWorks targeting is anonymous by design: you reach a cohort and see its size, but never a name, email, or individual identity.
Dimensions you can target
- Command focus (OR) — categories developers run, e.g.
ai,docker, rust. Matches when their current command is in any selected category. - Precision tags (AND) — require all listed tags to be present at once (e.g.
python+ai). - Languages — programming languages from developers' public GitHub. Reach the cohort; identities stay private.
- Libraries / SDKs — target developers who actually use a library (e.g. the Polymarket SDK), detected on-device from project dependencies. Only curated public libraries are targetable.
- Seniority — junior, mid, senior, staff (self-reported).
- OS / shell — macOS/Linux/Windows and zsh/bash/etc.
- Open to work — developers open to opportunities (charged at a recruiting CPM premium).
- Exclude categories — brand safety; never show on these commands.
How matching stays private
Library and language matching happens server-side (or on-device for delivery), so a developer's dependency list never leaves their machine for you to see. You only ever get aggregate counts and delivery. Size any combination live in the Audience Explorer.
